Charge

The COAT is an operational group that ensures smooth operations of the district and is useful resource to the executive team for making decisions based on a collaborative effort and information. Team members identify the sub-group for completing the tasks identified. The teams are ongoing but the frequency of meetings at the sub-group level is minimized and meets only on a needs basis until the current project/task is completed.

Objective

To increase collaboration, communication and streamline district administrative processes. The team provides the expertise and to discuss/resolve multiple operational issues and facilitate development of Standard operating procedures. The collaborative effort increases the knowledge base of the team leading to awareness, ownership and support for processes that ensure smooth operations and accountability across the district. In addition training modules are developed where needed.

The end result is a better service to the learners (students) and the members of the community (Administrators, Faculty and staff). The sub-groups include front line staff, user support coordinators, managers, application support technicians, Directors or other employees depending on the need and the operational task.
