The Writing and Reading Center supports those students enrolled in classes within the English, Reading, and ESL disciplines and promotes literacy throughout the college by providing content-area reading and writing instruction.

CENTER RULES

In order for the WRC to be a productive learning environment, please follow these policies:

  • No cell phones, food or drinks of any kind.
  • Computers are for class work only.
  • Cash is required for printing. Copies cost 10 cents per page.
  • Machines left unoccupied for longer than 10 minutes may be reassigned.
  • One student per workstation.
  • Children are not permitted in the Writing and Reading Center.
  • Non discrimination and prohibition of harassment policies apply to all Writing and Reading Center activities.
